Growing up in a local United Methodist congregation, I took the loving and nurturing atmosphere created by the multitude of adults and leaders around me for granted. From that wonderful space where I first connected with God and formed lifelong friendships, I discovered my own call to ministry. I graduated from SMU Perkins School of Theology in 2008 and was ordained a Deacon in Full Connection in the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2011. I have served Walnut Hill UMC in Dallas, First UMC in Rockwall, and Christ UMC in Plano. Along with my wife Courtney, I enjoy adventure of all kinds – whether from great conversations with friends or soon to be friends, from connection across a board game table, or from the unexpected discoveries found while exploring new places. I love all that I get to do here at Flower Mound UMC to inspire and support faith in our youth, as well as support all the different ways our whole congregation, young and old, intentionally serve and impact our neighborhoods and world!
