At FMUMC, our Missions Ministry is fully funded by donation. At the beginning of each month, on Communion Sunday, we take up a rail-offering for a community partner. Beyond that, donations are raised by our generous and faithful congregation on an as needed basis. To give to the missions program or learn more about our church's finances click the link below:

Angel Care Team
Angel Care Team meets on Wednesday mornings to visit Flower Mound Assisted Living Center on Morriss Road next to Marcus High School and also Rambling Oaks Assisted Living Home just a mile away. It's a wonderful way to make new friends and show the elderly that we care about them. Get involved and you'll gain more than you give. After our visits, we all go for lunch. All are welcome!

Christian Community Action (CCA)
FMUMC supports CCA in its mission primarily through providing donated funds for the annual Back-to-School, Thanksgiving Meal, and Christmas Meal drives. Additionally, we support CCA with volunteers for its summer Kids Eat Free program, and other projects on an as-needed basis.

My Little Pantry
The My Little Pantry (MLP) ministry is a tremendous opportunity for FMUMC families to support our friends at the Rocky Point Mobile Home Park. MLP is a small enclosed and raised cabinet located behind the Shiloh Church, located at the NW corner of 1171 and Shiloh Road. It stands near a gated fence that allows access from Rocky Point into the church yard. Similar to the My Little Library program, the MLP is filled with food products that families can take as needed. Volunteers supply the pantry on a regular basis.

Honey Dudes - Men's Mission
Honey Dudes is a mission out of the Men's Ministry at FMUMC. It's aim is to serve those on the margins who may need extra assistance with basic home repairs (e.g. changing lightbulbs, AC filters, etc.) If you or someone you know could benefit from the service of our talented handy-guys, fill out a service work order below.

Depart to Serve
Depart to Serve is an important week in the life of our church, and FMUMC’S signature weekend of service. Each year we have hundreds of people, individuals and families, focused on serving others outside of our church. As the hands and feet of Jesus, we put our faith into action through worship and service through various projects to bless our community.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Projects are available on both Saturday and Sunday - volunteer one or both days!
- Online registration will be available in early September.
- Please register early for best selection - many projects have a maximum number of volunteers to allow for the best and most safe experience.
- Pick up new FMUMC shirts in the main foyer on Sunday mornings in early September. Suggested donation $10/shirt. Wear them to church on DTS Sunday, and while volunteering that weekend.
- DTS Volunteers will be at the welcome desk in the main foyer in September to answer any questions you may have, help you find the right project, and with iPads to help you register.
- Before your project, you’ll receive an email from the leads with info specific to your activities. Many projects require closed-toe shoes. We can’t wait to serve with you!
