Gather together for support as we walk the journey through grief. Each session consists of...
Welcome!
On your first visit to Flower Mound UMC, we want you to know that you belong here. Just as Jesus invited sinners and saints to the table to dine, so do we welcome all people as beloved of God.
If your first visit is on a Sunday morning, our main hope is that you can worship God in the fullness of all that you are, to experience the fullness of God’s presence. Whether in our 8:30am liturgical service, 9:30am modern service or our 11:00am traditional service, we invite you to come before God with your whole presence – to sing, hear the Word, pray and listen to God’s revelation for your life. On the first Sunday of the month we welcome everyone to the Lord’s Supper, an experience of remembering the last meal of Jesus that empowers us to follow in the ways of our Lord and Savior every day. You do not need to be a member of the church, or even baptized in the faith, because ALL are invited to this meal.
Flower Mound UMC offers three worship styles, in order to best help you connect with the Divine, a liturgical service, traditional service and a modern service.
Sunday 8:30am | Liturgical (in person only)
Sunday 9:30am | Modern Service (live-streamed AND in-person)
Sunday 11:00a | Traditional Service (live-streamed AND in-person)
At Flower Mound UMC we define discipleship as the continual process of cultivating within us the very things Jesus embodied, namely love, mercy, compassion, and justice. Whether in the form of ongoing Sunday School Classes, short-term/long-term Bible studies or more, we strive to offer a balanced diet of Christian education opportunities to learn, Connection Groups to develop, and community groups to fellowship. All this is to assist you in finding a faith community where you belong, but are also being brave in your faith.
It's not only likely you have questions about us, but we'd also love to get to know you more as well. Currently, FMUMC's pastors are meeting with folks individually either over the phone, over Zoom, or over coffee in a safe, socially distanced environment. Prefer a group setting? Consider our Starting Point class, which is held three times a year. In this class, you'll not only learn about the core tenets of our faith and theology, but also how we strive to live those out in our various ministries.
Flower Mound UMC is highly involved in our local community. We partner with a variety of organizations ranging from those who work with people experiencing homeless/houseless, food scarcity, to organizations supporting children in tough family situations, to more blood-drives, and street clean up days. Whether weekly, monthly, or annually, we have mission opportunities for you to serve your community.
