On your first visit to Flower Mound UMC, we want you to know that you belong here. Just as Jesus invited sinners and saints to the table to dine, so do we welcome all people as beloved of God.
If your first visit is on a Sunday morning, our main hope is that you can worship God in the fullness of all that you are, to experience the fullness of God’s presence. Whether in our 8:30am liturgical service, 9:30am modern service or our 11:00am traditional service, we invite you to come before God with your whole presence – to sing, hear the Word, pray and listen to God’s revelation for your life. On the first Sunday of the month we welcome everyone to the Lord’s Supper, an experience of remembering the last meal of Jesus that empowers us to follow in the ways of our Lord and Savior every day. You do not need to be a member of the church, or even baptized in the faith, because ALL are invited to this meal.
Your Perfect Worship Service Awaits
Worship in a close-knit community centered on weekly preaching and Holy Communion. The service follows a liturgical style, without overhead screens, and includes prayers for joys and concerns. Passing of the Peace fosters meaningful connection among attendees.
We invite you to 'Come As You Are' to our modern, creative worship service. This service meets in the Fellowship Hall and features music of the Thrive Praise Band led by Chris Czechowski.
Come! Enjoy a cup of coffee, worship and fellowship.
MUMC offers traditional worship with adult and youth choirs, children’s choirs, handbells, ensembles, and an orchestra. We honor our customs while embracing innovation, seeing tradition as a living reflection of our shared faith, celebrated each Sunday in the Sanctuary.
Our 8:30 and 11:00 services are held in our sanctuary located in the southernmost lot closest to the Flower Mound water tower.
Our 9:30 service is held in the Fellowship Hall located on the North end of the building.
Feel free to dress however you like, we just want you to feel comfortable!
Our nursery is available for ages 3 months thru Pre-K during the worship and Sunday school hours (8:15am - 12:15pm).
We invite you to visit our welcome desk for more information or questions you may have.
We have a sensory-sensitive family room available in the back of our sanctuary where parents can see and hear worship during the services with accessibility to a private restroom facility.
Listening devices are available at the sound booth in the back of the Sanctuary. Wheelchairs and walkers are also available, and ushers are happy to assist you to your seat. Our walkways, entrances, and playground are all wheelchair accessible.
